The Fool 03:51
In 1253 the young man called Badager Traveled to a country so far away He didn't know how to spell it's name He left behind everything he knew and stepped in a world where all things were new Go Badagar Go Walking on the main road towards the church A man made him stop and said This is a town with respectable people You look like the jester we could live without Or are you a tramp, beging food and shelter Go Badagar Go Badagar looked back into the man's brown eyes Not confused or puzzled but curious at most he asked Is it my bindle that makes you think That I am the vagabond you fear? Go Badagar Go The man glanced over at the bag Starting to wonder what he might carry It might contain food, it might contain gold Or is the fool making the fool of me? Go Badagar Go Reading hte man's mind Badagar smiled Suggested a drink but the man declined Badagar turned his back and swung the bindle against the man's face Go Badagar Go When the man felt the bindle against his cheek He could swear he felt coins and valuable stones Now Badagar was out of his sight He got more curious about what was in the bag. Go Badagar Go After plenty sleepless nights The man packed his bag Left everything behind Determined to find our travelers wealth Not knowing which road to take Traveling to countries so far away Go Badagar Go

Nobody decides Look at the turning of the wheel to find happiness in life and beyond Rota Taro Orat Tora Ator Who will I be? Nobody decides Each turn defines what you'll be The turning wheel will set you free Rota Taro Orat Tora Ator

Hanged 04:36
Rising rain Growing Down Sitting up Floating floor Swimming birds Flying fish Wind around Standing Down Smiling people now more look as if they cry Never thought I would have seen The world like this like in a dream Sky below is white and blue Flowers dancing above my head Body stretched Hanging down Life upside down shows ways never seen What first seemed impossible to me Now appears to be an opportunity Rising rain Growing Down Sitting up Floating floor Swimming birds Flying fish Wind around Standing Down Smiling people now more look as if they cry Never thought I would have seen The world like this like in a dream Grass above is green and brown Hands tied behind my back Body confined Mind set free Life upside down shows ways never seen What first seemed impossible to me Now appears to be an opportunity

The Star 03:43
Don’t weep when you meet an untimely end buried in words of poetry but rejoice Twinkling stars high in the sky Beautiful from a far but scorching heat and struggling flames when seen close by Scared by screams in the dark? When heard in beat and harmony designed in sound listen carefully Twinkling stars high in the sky Beautiful from a far but scorching heat and struggling flames when seen close by Picture wrinkles and scars on a face Drawn in light and shade To show a history of life look inside Twinkling stars high in the sky Beautiful from a far but scorching heat and struggling flames when seen close by Whirling knives and flying bullets Terrified for pain and death placed in a perfect choreography Carry away

Eremite 04:28
Socrates as eremite Solitude to free his mind Traveling with an open mind Asking people to remind Then Plato came and said the mind will have to make a very long ride To leave the cave into the light To leave the shadow to where it's bright
7.
The World 03:24
Floating through the river unaware of where it goes People drink it not only to survive People also think it to quench their mind Water may vaporize but always will be the beginning of life Rock stone and dust grown from the deep People plough and harvest it to eat but also build with it to not forget Earth can crumble beneath our feet or be a symbol of what we did Flowing floating hurling howling wind Breathing it in without a thought Dreaming in it as an endless flight Air becomes smoke in our hands or incense in our prays for eternal life Flames roar, burn and consume making an end to what was life creating space a source for rebirth Fire ends cleanses and heats to close the circle we name eternity.

Innamorare 03:27
Separated by design with the one and only goal of being united as one whole Two trees growing different kinds of fruit Moving together as one root Caging knowledge and emotion Joining body and soul Angels shining light on mystery while demons hide in shades of gray With unity as goal and a mountain in between They travel uphill towards the top Expressing knowledge and emotion Understanding each pain and joy Soon their roots are intertwined united as one whole Blossoms dancing in the light branches catching the wind Demons hide within their shade but they look up, reach up for the light

The Moon 03:16
Watching this girl at the bar he felt like drowning in her eyes Loosing focus on reality Seeing images from his mind Watching this girl at the bar he could not shed the thought of dragging her at her hair and pin her against the wall But of course this is not done Imagine how the world would be if all the people would just do what comes up in their dirty mind Sitting at the pond Hearing burping frogs Discovering a symphony of animal life Quacking ducks flying over leaving a trail of shit behind Wondering how to get them down To pluck them bald and swing them around How would it sound if he would grab The frogs legs and pull them out But of course this is not done Imagine how the world would be if all the people would just do what comes up in their dirty mind Being restless in a traffic jam seeing the lights turning green waiting full of agony until the car in front moves on Feeling the urge to speed up and smash the car in front Then pull the driver out on the road grinding his wheels right on his corpse But of course this is not done Imagine how the world would be if all the people would just do what comes up in their dirty mind

Justice 05:18
Everything must be weighed Answers chosen carefully Balance must be found Blindfold left aside Choosing right or wrong does not fit in an iron box Laws must guide not judge Life's not black and white but also red and green and more Some believe truth means right which makes all lies wrong She however has an open eye On cause and effect in life which makes us shout justice for all Questions must be asked Different answers can she get Balance must be found Blindfold left aside Defining truth or lie is not like choosing right or wrong Laws must guide not judge Certain acts seem wrong and mean but in a different light they might be right and a struggle for life She however looks right through the maze When justice solves the riddle judgement must take place which makes us shout Justice for all

Judgement 04:46
Red and green are supposed to fit But what if I make a different choice Will you judge me by the rules or by my right To search and try defining my style? Color your life, don't think in shades of gray Bend rules, mix thoughts, get new ideas Shed some light beyond your boundaries To search and try defining your style. Words are liked when expressing joy But what if I don't feel alright Can't I pick the words to share my thoughts And let you feel the ugliness? Color your life, don't think in shades of gray Bend rules, mix thoughts, get new ideas Shed some light beyond your boundaries To search and try defining your style. When I sound retarded, will you treat me like a fool? When I smell like shit, will you treat me like a rat? When I tear my clothes, will you think I'm mad?

The Chariot 03:03
Everyone has a moment when they contemplate about how they stand in life if they travel in a chariot or if they're caught as slave 'cause sometimes both sides seem to be the same conquest honor victory energy words of power with flexibility in other words the choice is yours to drive or to be driven mobility is all a state of mind victory is a mental state matter doesn't matter when you use the chariots weight Having a successful business life might make you want to be respected might give you choice in luxury But if you want to keep control don't let the show make a show of you it's all about what you chose take control of the chariot conquest honor victory energy words of power with flexibility in other words the choice is yours to drive or to be driven mobility is all a state of mind victory is a mental state matter doesn't matter when you use the chariots weight Writing books nobody seems to read Can make you feel neglected Might let you feel rejected So if you want to take control don't forget society is slow When it's true and really quality It will become a part of eternity

The Tower 04:13
From guided by chilling breeze to being lost by howling wind From seeing truth in candlelight to blinded by lightning sky Climbing the stairs to the top did you look around or stop To wait for the one behind To care for the one without candlelight To stay with your feet on the ground To rest not to loose your mind but don't forget to look outside and don't let the storm out of your sight once on the top there's no one on your side From listening to white whispers to unbearable earsplitting screams From learning truth in rustling leaves to ignoring cries for help Climbing the stairs to the top Did you look around or stop To talk with the one in front To catch the stumbling knight To grab the handrail on time To discover the echoed words But don't forget to look outside and don't let the storm out of your sight once on the top there's no one on your side Finally every body will reach the top, no matter if you want it or not Even you will carry the crown, feel the power and it might. Then fall to depths you never saw.

about

This album is a collection of songs, inspired by the Tarot cards, interpreted in our way to reflect our view. The songs are arranged to align with the progress of the first chapter of a story Bart has written. The cards have been chosen for what they represent, so they are not randomly picked.

All music has been recorded and arranged with open source software, such as Ardour, lilypond, various plugins, sound-libraries and virtual instruments.

The songs have been created between 2010 and 2018.
